Ownership & Heritage

TUI BLUE Tamala is owned by Gambian hospitality entrepreneurs Malleh Sallah and Omar Jawara through their locally owned hotel group. The partners have built a significant collection of Gambian-owned resorts that includes Tamala, Kalimba, Balafon and Djembe.

TUI BLUE operates as the resort’s international hospitality brand and management partner. This arrangement allows the hotel to benefit from TUI’s global marketing and distribution network while remaining under Gambian ownership.
