Ownership & Heritage
Mango Bay Hotel is part of the locally owned Mango Bay Hotel Group associated with veteran Black Barbadian hotelier and entrepreneur Peter Odle.
Odle entered Barbados’ hospitality industry in the 1970s and went on to become one of the Caribbean’s respected independent hoteliers. He transformed the former Palm Beach Hotel into Mango Bay, developing the property into the beachfront all-inclusive resort operating in Holetown today.
His hospitality leadership has extended well beyond his own hotels. Odle has served as President of the Caribbean Hotel Association, Chairman of the Barbados Tourism Authority and Chairman of Barbados Port Inc., and was previously named Caribbean Hotelier of the Year.
Today, the Mango Bay Group also includes other Barbadian hospitality properties, continuing a locally rooted hotel legacy spanning several decades.
