Why Stay at Pirate’s Inn?

Pirate’s Inn provides an affordable, independently owned alternative to Barbados’ larger beachfront resorts. Although the property is not directly on the beach, guests can walk to the boardwalk and Accra Beach within minutes.

The combination of kitchenettes, a swimming pool and a convenient South Coast location makes it especially appealing for travelers planning a longer Barbados vacation or anyone seeking more flexibility than a traditional resort stay.

Black Ownership

Pirate’s Inn is a Black woman-owned and locally operated Barbadian hotel owned and managed by Renée Coppin. Coppin initially managed the property after leasing it from former owner Elizabeth Johnson and later purchased the hotel.

A respected leader in Barbados’ hospitality industry, Coppin is the founding executive director of Intimate Hotels of Barbados and previously served as chairman of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association. She also formerly owned and operated the Infinity on the Beach hotel business.
