Why Stay Here

The Villas at Sunset Lane offers the personal atmosphere of a bed-and-breakfast with the accommodations and amenities of a boutique hotel. Its small size allows guests to receive individualized attention from Jackie and her hospitality team.

The quiet adults-only setting is well suited to couples, friends and solo travellers seeking relaxation away from Antigua’s larger all-inclusive resorts. Guests remain within convenient reach of Dickenson Bay Beach, St. John’s, restaurants, shopping and V.C. Bird International Airport.

Ownership & Heritage

The Villas at Sunset Lane is owned and managed by Antiguan hotelier and executive chef Jacqueline “Jackie” Cort-Thomas.

After working as a tax accountant in corporate America, Jackie followed her passion for Caribbean food and trained professionally as a chef. An internship at the W Hotel in New York helped inspire her transition into hospitality and the creation of her own boutique property in Antigua.

The Villas opened in 2008 and has grown into a distinctive Black woman-owned hotel where accommodations, food and personalized service reflect Jackie’s Antiguan heritage. Her Caribbean-fusion menus draw upon local farmers, fishermen and regional culinary traditions.

Dining

A complimentary continental breakfast with seasonal fruit, toast, tea or coffee is included with standard reservations. A cooked breakfast is available for an additional charge.

Dinner is currently served on selected evenings and must be ordered in advance. The property is not a conventional year-round all-inclusive resort, although it periodically offers curated all-inclusive wellness retreats and special packages.
