Founded by Dr. Lakeysha Hallmon—educator, entrepreneur, and champion for Black economic empowerment—The Village Retail is part of The Village Market ecosystem, a nationally recognized platform created to support and scale Black-owned businesses. Since its launch in 2020, The Village Retail has become a shopping destination where community, culture, and commerce intersect.
