The Urban Oyster is proudly Baltimore’s first Black & female owned oyster bar in the US, redefining seafood dining through innovation, sustainability, and a fierce love for local flavor. Founded by chef and entrepreneur Jazmine “Jazz” Hughes, The Urban Oyster began as a pop-up and quickly captured hearts (and appetites) with signature chargrilled oysters, seafood sliders, and creative plates rooted in Chesapeake Bay tradition.
