Located on four private acres in Sedona, The Jenesis House is a Black woman-owned, adults-only wellness estate offering a peaceful setting for rest, reflection and personal renewal.
The intimate property features 10 thoughtfully designed suites influenced by Japanese and Scandinavian aesthetics. Overnight guests can enjoy the estate’s pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, Bath House, Tea House, meditation spaces and wellness experiences surrounded by Sedona’s celebrated red-rock landscape.
The Jenesis House is an appealing choice for solo travelers, couples and small groups seeking a quieter and more intentional alternative to a traditional Sedona resort.
Wellness is incorporated throughout the stay with opportunities for meditation, movement, bathing rituals, sound therapy, creative activities and nourishing meals. The estate’s limited number of suites also creates a more private and personalized experience for guests looking to relax and recharge.
The Jenesis House is a Black woman-owned wellness estate founded by wellness entrepreneur Jenesis LaForcarde.
Inspired by her own experience with burnout, LaForcarde created the property as a restorative space for people carrying demanding personal and professional responsibilities. Her Jamaican, Trinidadian, Chinese and French heritage also informs the estate’s multicultural approach to design, nourishment and wellness.
The Jenesis House officially opened its Sedona estate in February 2026, adding an important Black woman-owned property to Arizona’s luxury wellness and hospitality landscape.
