In September 2026, Benus Trade and Invest (Pty) Ltd acquired Forever Resorts South Africa following regulatory approval of the transaction.
Benus is associated with Community Investment Holdings (CIH), the 100% Black-owned, women-led South African investment group co-founded by Prof. Anna Mokgokong and Joe Madungandaba.
Prof. Mokgokong is one of South Africa’s prominent Black women entrepreneurs. A physician by training, she has built a decades-long business career spanning healthcare, infrastructure, technology, logistics, energy and other sectors.
The acquisition brought Swadini and other established Forever Resorts destinations into a Black-owned South African investment portfolio, expanding Black participation in the country’s tourism and hospitality economy.
