Small World Country Club is part of the Kahama Group of Hotels portfolio. The Standard reported that the Kahama family owned the club as part of the late James Mwangi Kirung’o “Kahama’s” estate; Business Daily later reported a family dispute over ownership and management of the estate. The club’s own history says it had been part of the group’s portfolio for more than 30 years.
