Located in Accra’s lively Osu district, La Villa Boutique Hotel blends antique character with modern comforts in a tranquil garden setting. Its 55 rooms include suites and apartments, welcoming business and leisure travelers with personalized service close to the area’s restaurants, shops, and cultural attractions. Set on the former grounds of Ghana’s Russian Embassy, the hotel has received multiple hospitality awards, including recognition as a 2018 World Luxury Hotel Awards winner.
Guests can relax by the swimming pool, dine at Soprano Restaurant, or use the hotel’s meeting and event spaces. Soprano serves Afro-Mediterranean cuisine, and the hotel’s conference venues include Gusto, which seats up to 120 people, as well as smaller rooms for more intimate meetings.
La Villa offers a distinctive alternative to Accra’s larger hotels, with an intimate atmosphere, leafy grounds and a location in one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods. It suits business travelers, couples and visitors who want to explore Accra while staying somewhere with a strong sense of place.
La Villa Boutique Hotel was co-founded by Nii Amaa Ollennu, its owner and executive chairman, and his business partner Federico Barbisotti. Ollennu is Ghanaian-Italian, born to an Italian mother and Ghanaian father. He and Barbisotti designed the hotel, blending modern comforts with antique character.
