In September 2026, Benus Trade and Invest (Pty) Ltd completed its acquisition of Forever Resorts South Africa after South Africa’s Competition Tribunal approved Benus taking sole control of the hospitality group.
Benus is a subsidiary of Community Investment Holdings (CIH), a diversified South African investment company co-founded by Prof. Anna Mokgokong and Joe Madungandaba.
CIH is a Black-controlled South African investment group with prominent Black female leadership, and Prof. Mokgokong has built a decades-long career as a physician, entrepreneur and business leader.
The acquisition brought Tshipise and other established Forever Resorts destinations into the group’s investment portfolio while retaining the familiar Forever Resorts brand.
