Ownership & Heritage
Ritsako Game Lodge is a wholly Black woman-owned South African hospitality business. The lodge was founded by entrepreneur Susan “Poppy” Zinyana, whose vision was to establish a luxury African retreat centered on hospitality, relaxation and nature.
Business and tourism directories have also identified Gwen Ncube as an owner and host of the property. Ritsako represents Black women’s ownership and leadership within South Africa’s safari and game-lodge industry.
