Founded in 2016 by Dr. Lakeysha “Key” Hallmon, The Village Market has become a cornerstone of Atlanta’s economic empowerment movement. Dr. Hallmon’s innovative “Village Model” has served over 1,440 Black-owned businesses, generating $8.8 million in direct sales and providing $800,000 in grants through the nonprofit Our Village United. With a mission to dismantle systemic barriers and foster economic mobility, The Village Market offers a dynamic platform for entrepreneurs to thrive and for consumers to invest in community-driven commerce.
